Web Gateway

While there have been gateways to Freenet on the web in the past, it was presumed most of them vanished without a trace.

Apparently, not quite, however. People who want to try out Freenet (more or less) without installing a node (thus, just by browsing the web) can do this at https://site218.mysite4now.com/blcss/fr.pl

Note, however, that you potentially lose your anonymity while surfing the freenet-content on that gateway.
